Deep Reflection

coast of Aruba

Deep Reflection should be incorporate into our lives regularly. During times of conflict, internal struggle, and unrest, we must look within for our answers.

The energy we put out is the energy we attract to ourselves. If we find that energy not ideal than we have to question what is it that we’re putting out there to draw this back to us. To that, we have to look within and evaluate.

Anxiety, depression, sadness, toxicity, and indifference needs to start with a reflection of self first. While this may not be enough to help us solve the problems we feel, it does force us to ask ourselves why and hopefully face the truths that lie within.

Even when you think things are going great, deep reflections are needed to keep us grounded. It allows us to appreciate how we were able to get to a place of peace and how to maintain your sense of peace.

When its time to have deep reflection, you need to isolate yourself from the external world. Sometimes we’ve already gotten to this step in our lows physically and think that’s all we need. We have to close out the influence that drives the negative energy. Social media can be a significant contributor. If it is, delete it off your phone.

It could be a certain object that reminds you of something lacking or hurtful. Why do you keep it? Get rid of it. The pains of yesterday cannot bring the joys of tomorrow. Let that pain strengthen you in a passion or work.

Meditation, quiet walks, new trips are great ways to have deep reflections. Ask why until you can’t ask why anymore. Yell, cry, and walk until you can’t anymore. Leave knowing you work through some things. And its okay to not have worked through them all.

Years of habit and small traumas create perpetual cycles for us. Professional help may need to be an option, once you, your friends, and healthy coping mechanisms no longer seem like a viable option.

I know its hard, but I have faith in your journey. I believe in your success and I am here for you.
