New Year, Same You

Tomorrow is a new year. With that, there is so much pressure to do new things, try new resolutions, and ultimately be a new person.

I’m here to tell you that all of that is unnecessary.

This year has been taxing emotionally, professionally, and politically for many of us. The growth that you took this year shouldn’t be overlooked.

Look, I’m going to keep this short so you can get to whatever festivities you have planned. Make your goals, try new things, but do it at your pace. You don’t have to make these big changes overnight.

Make them January 1 or March 1, whatever is comfortable for your journey. If you want to start off strong, take a break and restart, do it!

Who you are currently is fine. Making improvements to yourself is always ideal, but don’t force it. Change should happen naturally and with the full support of yourself.

So, enjoy your night end or out, we’ll see you in the new year. The same you!
