Mr. B’s Bistro

You’re probably not going to end up at Mr. B’s in New Orleans for any particular reason other than the building is in front of your face. Food is not spectacular and the location isn’t too inviting, but the bartender is a friendly face. When there’s nothing on the menu to your liking you describe what you’re in the mood for and he makes you something hospitable. I had the Jason’s Fruit Punch. Its not on the menu but, it should be. Its a refreshing vodka drink.

Go at lunch. You should order the baby spinach and brussels salad topped with a crumbly cheese and apple slices.

And definitely the crawfish mac & cheese.

What you should not get is the steak and frites. Well, you can get them just ask them to hold the roux that comes on the steak (that they don’t mention on the menu… I really hate when restaurants do that).
