When Lost for a Hotel, Look… East, Miami

Miami is just that– Miami. You are always going to find a good time no matter where you look. Amazing shopping, beautiful beaches, crazy nightlife are all walking distances of each other. While I like to have fun, I love to rest even more. You need a great hotel while away. And if you are going to Miami, you MUST stay at East, Miami.

The room was perfect. Big enough where I could turn around comfortably but, small enough where it felt cozy. The view was great overlooking the water in the distance. The bed was comfy. While the pillows were a little too soft for my liking there were plenty to make up for that. And most importantly the AC in the room actually gets cold at night. I hate hotels that lock the controls of the AC unit.

The lightening in the bathroom was perfect for selfies. All the controls are on a touch pad monitor. There are no light switches so you can get the perfect lighting for your taste.

There was even a hidden espresso bar n the wall I found. So, symbolic for the speakeasy that’s tucked behind the best rooftop bar in the city. I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights (and got a great deal by the way) and each night the line to get to Sugar was packed! The bartenders are great at crafting whatever is on the menu and the music and atmosphere is amazing. I recommend the Peony which comes garnished with a beautiful flower. Definitely a place for social engagement. Stop here on your way out or stay at Sugar if you want to do a low maintenance night out.
