Unusual Revitalizing Facial

So because I spent a decent amount of time and “resources” in Sephora with my latest Murad purchases, I qualified for a FREE Revitalizing Facial Powered by Perk. Initially, I thought this was a mini facial in which I would lie back on a table and get the usual face wash and polish, but I couldn’t have been more wrong!

The Perk machine acts likes a vacuum and suctions the dirt and debris from deep within your pores. Later, the beauty consultant goes back with the same tool and replaces those pours with hydration. It was amazing!

You could actually see the dirty in the cup that was locked into my skin (semi-gruesome below). And I had washed my face that morning just before I got there! I couldn’t believe it. After the treatment, she toned my face and added sunscreen and other facial goodies.

I don’t know if the consultants are actual estheticians or how long this machine had actually been on market. Which may or may not have resulted in the huge blemish that showed up on my cheek later. And that’s what led me to look for a serum to deal with my hyperpigmentation. But I did ask that she not use open sample products on me because everyone isn’t so sanitary and graciously she did.
