A Simple Moisturizer Goes A Long Way

Honestly, who doesn’t like a good cosmetic product? I don’t usually like recommending products because everyone’s skin is so different. And with different skin comes different desires of results. I always like dewy skin but I hate a heavy moisturizer. For me, I have a combination of dry and oily skin depending on the time of year and climate. I don’t typically wear a lot of makeup and I consume a lot of water and vegetables. All of this plays a major part in my dermatological makeup.

Already I used a moisturizer by, but I needed to get a new refill. While in Sephora, I found a new and improved version of their moisturizer called Murad’s Age-Balancing Moisturizer. It has age-balancing moisture with SPF 30. My skin has a nice even moisture that isn’t too heavy on my skin. And with the SPF, my skin tone remains even, even on the extra sunny days.

I apply it in the morning after I wash my face, dotting a figure-eight around my eyes and a U-shape from cheek to cheek. Make sure you rub in the cream in an upward, circle pattern. Pulling down can stretch the skin and give it a pulled look which is no good! If my skin is particularly dryer because of cooler weather, I work my T-zone with a little extra emphasis.

Dr. Murad’s products are clinical so try a small sample on a test spot first to see if you have any reactions to it.
